Purpose and Functioning

International legal networks serve two purposes from the perspective of law firms themselves.

The first being, synergizing with firms in separate jurisdictions of similar orientation in terms of size and area of practice. This gives them the flexibility to involve firms within their network in matters that may be in their target jurisdiction, and offer services of the requisite quality and approach to their clients.

The second would be to expand beyond their specialisation to be able to provide a wider catena of services to their clients, akin to full-service law firms. This is perhaps most beneficial when considering that firms will not have to modify their structural foundations and dedicate significant resources to their operational expansion. While this falls to the credit of law firms big and small alike- it has a further reaching positive impact on their client base and subsequent quality of business transactions.
